Skylar Neese abruptly disappeared from her house on July 5, 2012, for a period.
Sadly, her corpse was found in Wayne Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, in January 2013.
Two of Skylar’s close friends, Shelia Eddy and Rachel Shoaf, were the criminals in this case.
Shoaf confessed to the police in December 2012, admitting that she and Eddy had planned and carried out Neese’s murder.
Shoaf was given a 30-year jail term with the prospect of release after 10 years after entering a guilty plea to second-degree murder.
Eddy, on the other hand, pled guilty to first-degree murder in January 2014 and was given a life sentence with a 15-year parole eligibility period.

Tara Clendenen and Gref Eddy are Shelia’s parents, and she was found guilty of murder.
She was reared as an only child and was born on September 28, 1995, in Blacksville, West Virginia.
When Shelia was a little child, her parents divorced around the year 2000.
After the divorce, Tara, her mother, and Jim Clendenen relocated to Morgantown, West Virginia, in October 2010.
In July 2012, tragedy struck when Sylar Neese was killed by Shelia Eddy and her pals.
Shelia’s mother Tara filed a petition on Monongalia County Circuit Court after this horrifying incident, declaring her innocence and denying any involvement in the murder.
The victim’s mother, Mary Neese, filed a lawsuit in 2014 against Tara, Rachel Shoaf, Shelia, Tara’s mother, Patricia Shoaf, and other parties.
Tara defended herself by stating that she was not to be held guilty for her daughter’s behavior on the night of the murder since she had no control over them.
During that period, Shelia had remained at the Shoaf home.
Clendenen further emphasized that Mary Neese had publicly said on social media that she did not hold Eddy’s parents responsible for the behavior of their daughter.
Details of the Shelia Eddy murder case
After concluding her shift at Wendy’s on July 5, 2012, Skylar Neese went back to her family’s residence in Star City, West Virginia.
On July 6, about 12:30 a.m., Neese exited her apartment via her bedroom window, according to surveillance video from her apartment building.
She was seen getting into a sedan with her high school classmates, Rachel Shoaf and Shelia Eddy.
Eddy killed Skylar with a knife and then hid her corpse in a Pennsylvanian woodland location with her friend Rachel Shoaf.
Shoaf explained the killing’s motivation as being because Shoaf and Shelia “no longer wanted to be friends with her” and “disliked her.”
