After fracturing over 30 bones in a terrifying snowplow accident last December, Jeremy Renner has been healing slowly with the assistance of physical therapy and other treatments.
After being run over by a snowplow in December, leaving him with “30 or more fractured bones,” Jeremy Renner continues to update his devoted followers on his recovery path.
The 52-year-old actor disclosed his participation in “electric stimulation workouts” in his most recent Instagram post. He shared a picture of a device with attachments on his right leg.
According to TheJoint.com, electrical stimulation replicates the benefits of a deep tissue massage, which promotes blood flow.
It is believed that the technique can aid in the repair of muscular injuries, as well as assess the rate of muscle recovery after a serious injury, such as the one Jeremy sustained. Due to the severity of his injuries, his recovery could take years.
According to police reports, the incident occurred in December when Jeremy moved in front of a big driving snow plow to prevent his nephew from getting wounded. Instead, the Marvel actor was “dragged beneath the machine by the track and driven over.”
During a 911 call from a neighbor, the speaker was heard saying,
“We need someone with life-saving procedures here immediately… Indeed, he was crushed beneath it. “There is a lot of blood over here, therefore you must immediately get someone over here.”
Early reports placed him in critical condition, but on January 6, he was able to update his supporters on his situation.
He stated in the caption of a hospital bed selfie,
“Thank you all for your nice sentiments. I am currently too confused to type. But I send you all my love.”
In January, he posted an update on Instagram regarding his prognosis. “Morning workouts and New Year’s resolutions all altered this year. The tragedy that befell my entire family sparked an immediate focus on unifying, actionable love,” he stated.
“I would want to thank EVERYONE for their kind words and concern for my family and me. Much thanks and affection to you all. These thirty or more fractured bones will heal and become stronger, just as the love and bond with family and friends grow stronger. Blessings and love to you all.”
