She also played baseball with the Next Level and New York Crush organizations.
She participated in USA Baseball’s Women’s National Team this summer. Although she didn’t go to Brown, she went to numerous college baseball camps. She contacted Achilles after being accepted academically by Brown and sent him baseball highlight videos. In the fall of last year, a male player and Pichardo competed for a spot on the team at a walk-on trial day.
