On October 16, 1993, Jovit Baldivino was born to his parents, Hilario Baldivino and Cristeta Baldivino. His parents were poor and resided in Batangas, a small Philippine province.
To keep his family out of the spotlight, Jovit Baldivino has kept very little information about his parents secret.
On his social media accounts, he hasn’t posted any images of his parents. He has, however, always been a very responsible son who has supported his family since a very young age.
Jovit Baldivino, his father, was a member of a low-income Batangas household. To support his family and pay for his lessons, he used to sell siomai in a market after school.
He participated in Pilipinas Got Talent’s inaugural season to finish his education and help his family escape poverty. He insisted that if he were to win the 2 million peso reward, his dream would come true.
Sadly, Jovit Baldivino passed away
According to the official statement provided by Baldivino’s parents, Hilario and Cristeta Baldivino, and his fiancée, Camille Ann Miguel, to ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe, Baldivino had been “recovering for a week with hypertension maintenance medications.”
Despite the doctors’ recommendations to rest, he agreed to go to a friend’s celebration in Batangas City. After singing three songs, he was seen gasping for oxygen throughout the third song.
After waiting for an hour, Baldivino was sent to the nearest hospital at 10 p.m. on December 3 after “his face was distorted with streaming salivas.”
His CT scan revealed that he had a blood clot in his brain, a sign of an aneurysm. On December 4, blood was suctioned from his brain.
He was unconscious for five days. Baldivino passed away this morning at 4 a.m. Miguel posted a photo of them both on Facebook along with the words “Asawa ko” and teary emojis.
In a previous report from Totoong Balita Southern Tagalog, Baldivino passed away after a brief stay in the critical care unit (ICU) at Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Batangas City.
The report was also verified by the hospital over Brigada Batangas radio.
According to earlier accounts, Baldivino collapsed at a party a few days prior and was transported right away to the hospital.
His wife recently advised web users to verify the news before posting it.
