On August 18 at 3 a.m. ET, HBO Max will air the first three episodes of the new season of Selena + Chef. Selena Gomez will once more be included in the program as she learns how to cook from ten well-known celebrity chefs. A notable example of these chefs is Adrienne Cheatham.
Cheatham has previously participated in Season 15 of Top Chef, coming in second. She was also a subject of the New York Times documentary Tastemakers, which examined the difficulties that young aspirant chefs and other members of the food industry face. Here are a few more things you should know about Adrienne Cheatham before the HBO Max cooking show’s next season premieres.
The “Pop-up Princess,” Adrienne Cheatham, is the creator of SundayBest, a pop-up series held in secret locations throughout Harlem during which Cheatham serves a four-course supper to the guests. She has gained fame as a chef and published her first book, Sunday Best: Cooking Up the Weekend Spirit Every Day.
The name of her cookbook was inspired by her clandestine Sunday supper gatherings. A graduate of the New York Institute of Culinary Education is Adrienne Cheatham.
She spent her time there bartending at night and doing freelance work as a cook. After graduating, she started working as a commis at La Bernardin, a three-Michelin-star establishment. After eight years, she was promoted to Executive Sous Chef as compensation for her achievements.
Since then, she has worked with many well-known chefs, including Marcus Samuelsson and Eric Ripert. The Red Rooster’s Black History Month meal is one of the special tasting menus she organized that has earned her praise.
Cheatham made her Top Chef debut in Season 15, reaching the finals and placing second. Regarding her appearance in the most recent HBO Max episode, not much information has been made public.
“SELENA + CHEF is back, this time with Selena and her friends and family at the beach.” Selena will continue to experience the joys of cooking with celebrity chefs in Season 4 in a beach villa.
The chefs that have taken Gomez under their wing this season include Gordon Ramsay, Devonn Francis, Kristen Kish, Ludo Lefebvre, Nick DiGiovanni, Paola Velez, Priya Krishna, and Rachael Ray.
“I’m thrilled to be back in the kitchen for another season, working alongside some of the best chefs in the world.” I’m hoping my skills have gotten better. More importantly, we were successful in raising money for outstanding humanitarian groups.
Gomez, Eli Holzman, and Aaron Saidman of Industrial Media are the executive producers of the fun cooking show, which was created by July Moon Productions.
