Agnes Wilson, a registered nurse from the San Francisco Bay Area, is most known as the mother of R&B singer, songwriter, and musician H.E.R. or Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson.

By the time she was 22 years old, Agnes’ daughter had won five Grammy Awards, including Albums of the Year and Songs of the Year for Hard Place. She is also the same young lady who first gained notoriety when she sang If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys on the Today Show when she was a child.

Growing up, Gabi was proud of her mother Agnes’ heritage and culture. One of the women who immigrated to the United States from a developing country in search of prosperity and a happy life is the singer’s mother. When and how Agnes met Kenny Wilson, the father of H.E.R., are still unknown. The Slow Down singer and her younger sister, Alex Wilson, are the couple’s only daughters, and they are still married.

In Vallejo, California, Sarmiento and Wilson brought up their two daughters. The spouse of Agnes shares equal credit for the accomplishments of their first child, a Filipino woman.
