American Idol

Season 21 of American Idol, the popular reality competition series, will premiere a new show on ABC on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET.

It will follow Aiden Adair and other candidates as they compete for a gold or silver pass to Hollywood Week in the second round of tryouts. This week’s show will take viewers on an intense and uplifting journey. Aiden Adair, the chief cook at a senior living facility in Charleston, will compete on American Idol Season 2 Episode 2. The TikTok fans who recommended and urged him to apply for the challenge inspired the 19-year-old performer to apply.

His tryout took place in Nashville. The ABC series has been a huge hit with viewers. Season 21 of the show premiered on February 19, 2023, with the first batch of contestants – pop diva Katy Perry, country sensation Luke Bryan, and Oscar-winning singer/songwriter Lionel Richie – performing in front of the judges. Some made an impression and advanced to the next round, while others did not.

Aiden Adair, a season 21 competitor on American Idol, is a cook and performer

Aidan, an American Idol season 21 contestant, was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Clover when he was six years old. Aiden has always enjoyed performing and has participated in several school choirs since he was a child. The prospect told the Columbia Post and Courier that all he knew how to do was sing:

“With nothing else to do, I decided to put on a show… “I’m comfortable in my own skin, and I recognized I had something from an early age,” I said, singing tenor in the choir.

During the epidemic, Aiden spent his senior year of high school online, underwent a physical transformation, and began writing songs. The singer is also a guitarist and a pianist. The American Idol winner has recently moved to Charleston and is working as a cook. He also has a sizable TikTok following, with over 356K followers and over eight million views. In his free time, he enjoys other activities such as fighting and exercise.

Aiden told The Herald that he grew up watching the reality show and was reminded of its alumni, including season 10 winner Scotty McCreery and season 11 winner Phillip Phillips. He admitted to being nervous about his tryout but expressed a desire to have no regrets:

“I felt like it was a decent chance for me to accept, and I’d be stupid not to. I resolved to devote my life to doing things I enjoy doing with people I enjoy being around.”

Aiden told the source that he intended to believe in himself and pursue singing regardless of whether others advised him to attend college or get a job. The performer stated that he only had one life and would do whatever made him happy. He didn’t say much about the interview, but he did say it was eye-opening.

Aiden teased his audition for American Idol by saying:

“There was a lot of it. I’m a very reserved and private person, so this is definitely out of my comfort zone.”

The performer has over 600 Instagram fans, which are sure to grow once watchers see his ability on the program. Heaps of people have died as a result of the cholera outbreak, but there is still hope. Many talented candidates took to the American Idol tryout stage last week and delivered stunning performances.

More will follow as the evaluators select the best talent and watch them compete. Fans will have to remain tuned in to see everything. Don’t miss a new episode of American Idol on ABC this Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET.
