Australian professional chef Andy Allen, whose full name is Andrew Peter Allen, has amassed a sizable fan following as a result of his appearance on MasterChef Australia. He is well-known for winning the fourth season of the reality competition program in 2012, and will also serve as a judge on MasterChef Australia beginning in 2020. Following the recognition of his restaurant in 2018, Andy became the first MasterChef Australia contestant to get the prestigious Chef’s Hat.
After speaking out in a moving televised interview after Jock Zonfrillo’s demise, the MasterChef chef became a media sensation. Allen said that the day before Jock Zonfrillo died, they had a three-hour supper together.
The MasterChef judge expressed sadness that Jock was not around to see him adopt a kid, and he revealed to Sarah Harris that he was unaware that Jock would start to feel like a “family” as soon as he decided to take part in the program.
Meet Alex Davey, Andy Allen’s wife: Married Life
Alex Davey, Andy Allen’s wife, adores him and has always supported the chef in his career. After being engaged in May 2020, the chef and Andy Allen’s wife were married on October 8.
To formally seal their union, the couple was hitched in grandeur in October 2022 at the illustrious Terrara House in southern New South Wales. Allen and Davey had an opulent honeymoon at Huka Lodge in Taupo, New Zealand. Sadly, not much information on Andy Allen’s wife is available online.
Andy described how he first met Alex at a party in an interview with TV Week. But until someone told her where the chef was from, she didn’t even know who he was. At least not instantly, the two did not fall in love that first night. They didn’t run into one other for a while, but when they did, the judge made sure to ask her out.
It was fortunate that they were still single after all that time because four years later, they would be ready to spend eternity together. The culinary guru has posted many images of himself and his wife on social media, and they have received a ton of positive feedback from his followers.
Family Andy Allen
On April 30, 1988, in his birthplace of Maitland, New South Wales, Andy Allen was born to his parents. The Father of the chef was a teacher at Bolwarra Public School where he taught kids. Additionally, Allen’s father served as the NSW Primary School Sports Association’s main cricket convenor.
Sadly, little is known about the mother of the culinary master since sources for information about her are few. The judge started in the electrical industry. Andy also participated in basketball for the Maitland Mustangs. The culinary guru also volunteered to contribute his time to help expand his local basketball court.
Allen chose to work in the hospitality sector. The Three Blue Ducks restaurant, which has locations in Brisbane, Melbourne, Bronte, Rosebery, and Byron Bay, is presently co-owned by a professional chef.
Alex is in Sydney, where Andy’s relationship issue lies, while MasterChef is shot in Melbourne. So, the chef and Andy Allen’s wife decided to attempt to make their distance relationship work.
When faced with this dilemma, Andy decided to seek advice from Matt Preston, a former MasterChef judge, and mentor, to reconcile his relationship with the rigorous MasterChef film schedule. The chef has not told his fans whether or not he is the father of his children.
