The Utah Farm Bureau Federation president, Ron B. Gibson, has announced that he will be taking a leave of absence following allegations that he beat a worker on August 8 at his Weber County, Utah, farm. Gibson is also being investigated for fraud and human trafficking as a result of the incident, the Weber County Sheriff’s Office reports.
In a probable cause affidavit, the team member stated that he and his colleagues were still owed their prior four payments. They confronted Gibson about the circumstance, which led to an altercation.
