Trevor Bayne is a professional stock car and dirt car racer from the United States. Ashton Clapp is his wife. Clapp had been the NASCAR driver’s high school sweetheart.
The couple dated for several years before marrying in 2013. Bayne resides in Tennessee with his wife and three boys and one girl. In addition, the couple is preparing to welcome their seventh child. Trevor Bayne is the youngest person ever to win NASCAR’s Dayton 500.
He is an American professional stock car racing driver, dirt racing driver, team owner, and businessman. He currently races for Joe Gibbs Racing in the No. 19 Toyota Supra in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Bayne began racing go-karts at the age of five and continued for eight years.
He was the winner of three World Championships, over 300 feature events, and 18 State and Track Championships. In October 2010, Bayne signed a multi-year contract with Roush Fenway Racing. For the remainder of 2010, Bayne drove the No. 17 Ford in the Nationwide Series.
Trevor also inked a contract with Dale Earnhardt, Inc. as part of their driver development program and will participate in the NASCAR Camping World East Series in 2018. Bayne, however, returned to the Xfinity Series in 2022 after appearing in 187 races over the previous nine years. In addition, he will compete in eight NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in 2020.
