Dance 100, a new Netflix show, will premiere on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 2 a.m. PST. The competition will pit eight different performers against each other, with exercise instructor Ally Love presenting. Dancer Brandi Chun is also scheduled to compete in Dance 100.

Chun has progressed from teaching at the Millennium Dance Complex in Honolulu to competing in a prestigious Netflix dance competition. She made a name for herself in the dance world by performing in Cirque Du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson ONE,” the “Move Beyond” show with Julianne and Derek Hough, and the Disney Jr. Tour, among others.

Meet Brandi Chun, a dance reality show director on Netflix

Brandi Chun began her performing career at 24-7 Danceforce Schools at the age of three. She attended school until she was 18 years old. Brandi chose to pursue her ambition after graduating from high school and relocating to Los Angeles. She wanted to pursue a serious career in ballet because she loved it.

Throughout her career, Chun has coordinated for companies such as Nissan, WeWork, and Rodan + Fields. She was also in a Bank of Hawaii commercial that aired regionally during the Super Bowl. On Friday, March 17, fans will be able to see Brandi Chun perform some of her best routines on the upcoming dance reality show. She shared her joy on social media with an Instagram photo captioned:

“I’m beyond thrilled to announce that Dance 100 will be available on Netflix on March 17th!” I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to share this with such wonderful people and instructors! I can’t wait to go on this adventure with you!”

Other candidates joining Brandi Chun in the program include Keenan Cooks, Rudy Garcia, Rex Kline, Akira Armstrong, Celine Edmondson, Max Pham, and Janick Arseneau.

What can we expect from Dance 100?

Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Lizzo, Cardi B, Missy Elliot, and Kelly Clarkson are among the celebrities who have collaborated with the show’s performers.

Based on their performances, the dancers will decide the fate of the director in the program, and the number of dancers will grow with each installment. The competition will continue until all 100 dancers have performed, at which point the winner will be awarded $100,000 and named the season winner.

The formal news release describes the performance as follows:

“There can be 100 performers in a room … but it’ll take every last one of them to determine who’ll be the next great director. In the upcoming competition series Dance 100, which premieres on March 17, every movement counts. Eight exceptional dancers will compete in a high-stakes dance battle, each believing they have what it takes to become one of the greats.”

Aside from that, it states:

“The competitors must construct amazing and increasingly complicated routines starring 100 of the world’s finest dancers, known as the Dance 100,” says Ally Love, presenter and renowned Peloton teacher. What’s the snag? The dancers not only perform, but they also decide the fate of the directors.”
