Meet Charity Lawson ahead of her appearance on The Bachelor

Charity Lawson, a child and family therapist from Georgia, graduated from Auburn University. While at university, she earned a bachelor’s degree in science, rehabilitation, and disability, as well as a master’s degree in education, MEd, and clinical mental health counseling.

Charity was heavily involved in various initiatives while at university, including serving as an Eagles Program Volunteer and Mentor, where she helped to launch a new program for students with intellectual disabilities.

The Bachelor contestant also contributed to poverty reduction by volunteering at the Auburn Campus Kitchen, where she participated in an anti-hunger campaign, recycled meals, and distributed them to those in need.

Her LinkedIn profile states:

“I have a tremendous desire to serve people and am an outspoken proponent of self-care and wellbeing. My goal is to have an impact on someone’s life wherever I go by ensuring and implementing positive change for humanity, while also connecting and supporting a diverse environment that fosters long-lasting interpersonal connections.”

The charity began her career as an inventory lead associate at The Mint Julep Boutique, LLC, followed by internships at Auburn University’s Bravehearts Center for Place and Purpose and as a Full Life Ahead camp counselor in 2018. The Bachelor season 27 contestant is currently working as a child advocacy center therapist intern at the Tri-County CAC in Alabama.

Despite her professional success, Charity is eager to find love. The Notebook is the mental health professional’s favorite movie, and he dreams of one day moving to Disneyworld. She believes she and Zach Shallcross are a “great fit on paper” during season 27 of The Bachelor. ABC describes her as a “complete package,” and she expresses a desire for a future partner who is honest, faithful, and shares her values.

It continues, saying:

“It’s easy to see why Charity is such a good catch! Charity is the real deal, with a bright smile that lights up the room, a great job, and a pleasant personality to match! “The Georgia beauty interprets her name as a call to love and care for others, and her life has revolved around that goal.”
