In 1970, David Koch joined Koch Industries and took a position as the chief of the technical services immediately beneath his brother Charles.

This businessman established the organization’s New York division, and in 1979 he took over as head of Koch Engineering, which is now known as Chemical Technology Group.

It has been found that the Clark-Koch ticket was guaranteed to stop the Federal Reserve Board, Social Security, minimum wage laws, welfare, all price supports, corporate taxes, sponsorships for business and agriculture, and U.S. Federal agencies including the EPA, SEC, FTC, ICC, FBI, OSHA, DOE, and CIA.

David Koch was a well-known patron of the arts and is attributed with creating the libertarian and conservative political pillars of the American Tea Party movement. Being exceedingly wealthy, he donated to many charities.

He was recognized as one of America’s most benevolent but underappreciated supporters by Condé Nast Portfolio. After acquiring such a sizable net worth and choosing to donate some of it, he rose to prominence as a philanthropist.
