Born in Syracuse, New York, on January 11, 1966, Derrick became a well-known Democratic leader. He is an American politician with a long history of public service and several academic accomplishments.
Jackson graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1998. He then attended Troy University to obtain a master’s degree in 2003.
He is now enrolled in Walden University’s Ph.D. program in Public Policy and administration, having always been a committed student.
