The Wallasey Pub Shooting and Elle Edwards’ terrible death have received a lot of media attention. The distraught father of Elle, the victim of the Christmas Eve massacre, recently launched a campaign against gun and knife violence, saying that things “had to change.”
Tim Edwards is taking part in a walking challenge to collect money for the Guns Down, Gloves Up project with the intention of making a difference.
Tim said, “We want the city and surrounding area to get together and let people know we won’t put up with it any longer. Together with Liverpool-born comedian and actor John May, Mr. Edwards walks from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
The majority of those engaged in gun and knife crimes in Liverpool are unemployed, as actor John May confirmed. According to John, a lot of young individuals join gangs in search of loyalty or a feeling of belonging.
“What Weapons Down instills in kids is accountability. Upon completion, they have also guaranteed employment. The actor went on, “It teaches them consistency over time, success over time, and both.”
May claims that the non-profit initiative works to help stop young people from joining gangs and committing crimes in the future.

The funeral for Elle Edwards took place at St. Nicholas Church Wallasey on February 25, 2023. Gaynor, the grieving mother, showed up to the burial to show her respect.
Following that, a private ceremony was planned at Landican Cemetery and Crematory.
Tim Edwards, Elle’s father, carried her coffin into the church during the family and friend-filled funeral, as the streets were packed with mourners.
Elle’s distraught family remembered her as a lovely daughter and the joy of their lives.
Three Suspects Are Arrested in the Death of Elle Edwards
Three persons were been taken into custody by detectives investigating Elle Edwards’ Christmas Eve murder. Merseyside Police said that a 23-year-old woman and man were arrested on suspicion of plotting a murder.
Thomas Waring, 20, is accused of having a prohibited handgun and aiding an offender.
On the agenda for the Wirral Adult Remand Court is Mr. Waring, of Barnston, Private Drive in Wirral. Both the Tranmere lady and the Heswall guy were freed on bail.
The 22-year-old Connor Chapman is accused of killing Ms. Elle Edwards. The trial for Champman is set to start on June 7.
