Graham Blanks’ age is 21, not 29, as Google searches suggest. Blanks is a Harvard University student who graduated from Athens Academy. Graham, the reigning NCAA cross country champion and indoor 5000m record holder, had a career year.
He went undefeated in 2023 and began the new year with a big NIL contract. Blanks teamed up with New Balance to host a three-mile run in his hometown on New Year’s Eve. Blanks, who began his running career in the Turkey Trot, has come a long way. When asked about his typical Friday night, the 21-year-old captain of his team stated that the only thing he does is sleep.
Graham Blanks Age: What Is The Runner’s Age?
Graham Blanks turned 21 last year, yet his age is listed as 29 when you search his name. One of Graham’s admirers left a birthday message on the Lets Run forum last year. On April 24, the user said, “Join me in wishing Graham a happy birthday!” “Happy birthday, Graham!”
Graham grew up playing soccer in Athens. He lettered in soccer, track and field, and cross country at Athens Academy, a small private high school in Georgia from which he graduated in 2020. Graham was the captain of the Athens track and field and cross-country teams throughout his junior and senior years.
The boy, the only runner in his family, credits his participation in multiple events to his mother. Graham stated in an interview that he began participating in 5k races when he was 13 years old. His mother also introduced him to yearly turkey trots when he was a child. Graham also started jogging to increase his endurance on the soccer pitch.
That’s when his high school coaches, Geoffery Walton and Neville Anderson, knew they had a problem. Walton thought Blanks’ running was effortless, and despite knowing Graham was a fantastic runner, he never envisioned him reaching this level. Graham was selected both Georgia Gatorade Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year and GATFXCCA Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2019.
