John Lee Bottom gave birth to Jodean Bottom on February 29, 1964 in the United States of America. John briefly dated Trinity, the woman through whom her father had her. Missionary John was her father. Despite not having any biological siblings, Jodean has five half-siblings thanks to her father’s union with Arlyn Phoenix.
All five of Jodean’s half-siblings are younger than she is. She has three sisters, Rain Phoenix, Summer Phoenix, and Liberty Phoenix, as well as two brothers, River and Joaquin Phoenix.

Despite having the same last name as her at birth, Jodean’s half-siblings subsequently altered it to “Phoenix.” Although they haven’t said why they chose this last name, they chose it to honor the mythological bird that emerges from its own ashes and represents a fresh start.
