Chris went from owning and overseeing a national gymnastics powerhouse for two decades to focusing on training top gymnasts from around the world in June 2019. His new project is a full-time commitment to raising three artistically inclined, athletically gifted, and unusual children.
Once they were active in their activities in LA and Austin, the family’s collective affection evolved into rock climbing, both inside and out. Kim Zmeskal married Chris Burdette on October 23, 1999, after meeting at the age of 19. Their wedding took place at the famed Karolyi’s Ranch, where their paths originally crossed. Chris and Kim, a dynamic duo, embarked on a professional journey in 2001 when they were commissioned to establish Texas Dreams Gymnastics in Coppell, Texas.
Their coaching experience dates back to the establishment of this gymnastics school, and they gratefully assumed control of Texas Dreams Gymnastics in 2009. As a testament to their shared experience, the Burdettes had three children: two boys, Ryder and Koda, and a girl, Riven.
