Case Keenum is an American football quarterback who has played for many National Football League (NFL) teams. After a stellar undergraduate career at Houston, where he set many NCAA records, Keenum entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
Throughout his NFL career, he has played for the Houston Texans, St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns, and Buffalo Bills. He is presently a member of the Houston Texans, with whom he signed a contract on March 17, 2023.

Case Keenum, an American football quarterback, has a heartfelt love story to share about his wife, Kimberly Caddell. Since 2004, when they first met in Abilene, Texas, they’ve been inseparable. Their experience began when they were young, but their love didn’t take off until Case’s junior year of high school.
After a high school function, Steve got the courage to ask Kimberly for snow cones, a simple but memorable first date. Case was a junior starting quarterback for Wylie High School at the time, and he led them to their first state championship. Kimberly, a senior, played volleyball and pole vaulting for a rival school.
Kimberly happened to be in a Sunday School class taught by Keenum’s mother. Their shared circle of friends aided their first meeting, resulting in a connection that lasted even when Case moved on to play football at the University of Houston. Kimberly was Case’s rock through his ups and downs, especially after he had an ACL injury during his redshirt senior year in 2010.
She was crucial to his recovery, offering steadfast support throughout tough times. When they married while both were students at the University of Houston in 2011, their love story took a new direction. Case’s emotional proposal on the 50-yard line of the football field, lighted by candles, created the framework for their future together.
Case previously told the Los Angeles Times about Kimberly’s delight about wearing a jersey with the name ‘Keenum’ on the back while thinking about their shared journey: “She’s pretty excited about that.”
Parenting and Family Life
Since their marriage in 2011, Case Keenum and Kimberly Caddell have loved every element of their journey together. When their son, Kyler, was born in November 2019, their joy was multiplied. This delightful addition to their family arrived in May 2019, shortly after they announced the pregnancy, coinciding with Case’s relocation from the Denver Broncos to the Washington Redskins.
