Who Is Linda Trippeter? Is She The Biological Daughter Of Ike Turner?

If you are familiar with the late American artist Ike Turner, you presumably already know about his numerous marriages. He also has six kids from his various partnerships.

And today we’re going to talk about Linda Trippeter, one of his six children. Ike’s oldest daughter, Linda, is said to have been born from one of his first marriages.

Ike asserted that Linda is not his biological kid, though. What then is the reality? How did she get along with Ike? We’re going to provide some little-known details regarding her personal and professional lives in this article.

Despite her mother’s claims, Ike has stated in his memoirs Takin’ Back My Name that he is not Linda’s real father. He described how he met Velma in the book, calling her Thelma, and added that she was already expecting. Linda Trippeter was still an adolescent at the time. He claims,

Despite denying that Linda was his biological child, Ike allegedly raised her as his child after adopting her. As father and daughter, they had a wonderful bond.

She has five siblings, including Twanna Turner Melby, Mia Turner, Ike Turner Jr., Ronnie Turner, Michael Turner, and Ronnie Turner. They are all the offspring of her late father’s several marriages, and they are all her half-siblings. Her half-siblings are all fairly accomplished people.

Ike has visited multiple times, fourteen to be exact, as was previously indicated. The late singer allegedly wed a different lady before even divorcing his present spouse. When discussing his relationships in a previous interview, he said,

At the age of 16, he wed Edna Dean Stewart for the first time. He wed Linda Bullock’s mother Velma Davis after they had split up. After that, he wed Rosa Lee Sane for the third time, Bonnie Turner for the fourth, Alice for the fifth, Tina Turner for the sixth, Margaret Ann Thomas for the seventh, Jeanette Bazzell for the eighth, and Audrey Madison for the ninth.

He also had several more relationships, including that with Annie Mae Wilson and Lorraine Taylor.

Her Father Was A Singer And Actor

Well, Linda’s father was a well-known American singer-songwriter, record producer, and musician. He released his track Heartbroken and Worried in 1951, marking his musical debut. Since then, he has released many popular singles and albums.

You’re Drivin’ Me Insane, Love Is Scarce, Cuban Getaway and I’m Tore Up are a few of his popular tracks. Similar to Ike, Tina Turner’s Kings of Rhythm, his debut studio album, was released in 1962 and enjoyed moderate success.

Numerous more albums, including Rocks The Blues, Strange Fruit, Bad Dreams, and Here and Now, were inspired by the popularity of his debut studio album.

Ike, the great performer, and father of Linda, sadly no longer exists. He passed away on December 12; his burial service was held in Gardena, California’s City of Refuge Church on December 21.

He was reportedly discovered dead in his San Marcos, California, home by his ex-wife Ann Thomas. According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, he died from a cocaine overdose.

Despite having a famous father and daughter, Linda has always been completely private. When it comes to her marriage, there is no information available.
