From 22 December 2018 until 23 July 2019, Belgavi-based INC mass leader and politician Satish Jarkiholi served as Karnataka’s minister of forestry, ecology, and the environment.
As a representative of the Yemakanmardi seat in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from 2008, Satish. He served as the environment and forests minister in the H. D. Kumaraswamy administration.
Additionally, Jarkiholi worked in the Siddaramaiah cabinet as both the Excise Minister and the Former Minister of Small Scale Industries.
