Grubb was born on April 16, 1976, in Kingsley, Iowa, and began his football career at Kingsley-Pierson High School. Similarly, Grubb’s coaching career began in 2003 at Kingsley-Pierson High School and has led to notable roles. He has also worked as an offensive line coach at Eastern Michigan and offensive coordinator at Fresno State. Grubb started attending the University of Washington in 2021. He and head coach Kalen DeBoer helped the Huskies’ offense become one of the best in the country.

Ryan Grubb’s personal life has been improved by his marriage to Dr. Stephanie Grubb (née Millender). Stephanie is an excellent instructor with over 11 years of expertise. Stephanie, a skilled high school counselor and school administrator, has made important contributions to the improvement of Title I schools.
Similarly, her commitment to education is reflected in her efforts to foster a positive school climate and instructional program. Stephanie, who is in her mid-40s and lives in Detroit, Michigan, will celebrate her birthday on September 20. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan.
Additionally, she holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Wayne State University. Stephanie has been working as a high school counselor since 2006. She worked for Michigan Technical Academy, Plymouth Educational Center, Van Dyke Public Schools, and Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.
Despite this, she briefly served as Vice-Principal of Carter G. Woodson Charter School in 2017. Nonetheless, Stephanie returned to her employment as a School Counselor for the Sanger Unified School District, where she will remain until 2021.
