Stephen Robert Nesta Marley, as Stephen Marley, is a Jamaican-American singer and songwriter. He is Bob Marley’s son and a founding member of Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers. Marley opted to go solo after working as a background producer and assisting older brother Ziggy as a melody creator for numerous years.
In 2007, he published his first album, Mind Control. His first three solo albums earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album. He has received eight Grammy Awards. Kertia DeCosta Marley is Stephen Marley’s wife. Their wedding date and place have remained unknown until now. While no more information regarding Kertia DeCosta Marley has been released, we do know that the pair divorced a few years ago. They continue to have a connection outside of the marriage.

Marley was born on April 20, 1972, to father Bob Marley and mother Rita Marley. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware and reared in Kingston, Jamaica. Stephen has a total of 11 siblings. Four were from his father, Bob, and mother, Rita; two were adopted from his mother, Rita’s previous connection, and the other from Bob’s other relationships.
Stephen married Kertia DeCosta Marley in a private ceremony. Stephen has eleven children, including Joseph Mersa “Jo Mersa” Marley, Binghi Marley, Nyah Marley, Summer Marley, Mystic Marley, Sasha Marley, Jeremiah Marley, Zipporah Marley, Yohan Marley, Lailah Marley, and Shacia Marley, much like his father.
