Stephen Vogt comes from a religious family of athletes. The manager of the Cleveland Guardians acquired his baseball DNA from his father, a former player and coach.

The majority of the Guardians’ management has a professional background similar to her spouse’s. Alyssa previously coached women’s basketball at Tumwater High School. Alyssa and Stephen met while both were students at Azusa Pacific University. Alyssa was a member of the Azusa women’s basketball team. The couple married on December 30, 2007, and the former baseball player has already shared several anniversary tweets on X (previously Twitter).
Due to familial obligations, Alyssa resigned from her position in 2017. It was a year after the birth of her and Stephen’s third child, and the responsibilities were mounting. Alyssa isn’t extremely active on social media, although she does have a Facebook page that she updated in 2019.
