Themeli Magripilis is married to Jessica Mauboy. She started a long-distance relationship with Darwin-born soccer player and municipal employee Themeli “Magoo” Magripilis in January 2009. In Darwin’s soccer level, Magripilis played for Hellenic Athletic, the same team that Sophia Mauboy, Mauboy’s younger sister, represented.

After seven years of long-distance courtship, Magripilis moved from Darwin to Sydney in September 2016 and married Mauboy there. On July 9, 2022, the union took place in Darwin.
