Rassie Erasmus is married to South African Yolanda Erasmus. The couple chooses to keep their relationship private and has not revealed how or when they met or married. Rassie’s Twitter account demonstrates that he is quite professional and prefers to discuss his job life above his personal life.
According to Rugby World, the pair has been married for nearly 20 years and has three children, including two adolescent twins. All three girls sent a video message to World Rugby thanking them for reducing their father’s sentence to two months.
Rassie was barred from all rugby-related activity for 60 days after the governing body reacted angrily to his 62-minute video in which he ‘questioned’ many match referees’ judgments. His children taunted him, saying, “We are so tired of him being at home, and we have received enough life lessons.”
They praised the ruling authorities for reducing the suspension. “My daughters seem happier than me to go back to work!!” Rassie answered with her joke. Rassie and his family contracted Covid-19 in 2020. He and his wife were both sick at the same time.
