Lee was the chief product officer of MobileCoin, a cryptocurrency firm founded in 2017, in addition to acting as an angel investor for companies like Tile and Figma.
While working with Jack Dorsey’s Block, then known as Square, in 2013, Lee created the mobile payment system Cash App.
He was hired by Block to create the company’s Android app, and in 2011 he was allowed to become the chief technology officer. He had been employed with MobileCoin since 2021.
