The late attorney Bolanle Raheem’s spouse is Gbenga Raheem. The Raheem couple had been wed for a very long time and had kids. There aren’t many specifics available, but according to internet sources, Bolanle was expecting twins at the time of her death. As previously mentioned, Gbenga provided testimony during Drambi Vandi’s murder trial. In his testimony, he acknowledged that on Christmas 2022, the pair had private time and a lit breakfast.
The family awoke to unexpected presents on December 25, 2022, and Gbenga had wrapped a set of jewels for his wife. Gbenga said that he and his wife had private time early in the day. They then had a quick breakfast with their children. Gbenga afterward took the family to a neighboring church in his car.

Bolanle Raheem was fatally shot by police officer Drambi Vandi. The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) hosted the memorial services. Afterward, the Drambi case continued, but lately, it took a different course. Following the defense attorney’s last written statement on behalf of his client, Mr. Adetokunbo Odutola, Justice Ibironke Harrison set the date for the decision.
The court received a no-case filing application on February 20, 2023, and this was in response to it. Odutola made a point throughout the hearings that the pistol and discharged bullet did not match based on the ballistic data.
The pathologist’s evidence, according to the defense, contradicted the prosecution’s assertion that the bullet entered from the left via the armpit. The prosecution, on the other hand, asserts that the dead were shot in the chest.
Additionally, the state government accused the defendant of murder on one count by Section 223 of the Lagos State Criminal Law from 2015. Following arguments from both parties, the matter was postponed until April 3 for Justice Harrison to issue a decision.
