In the British cycling scene, Richard Moore was a well-known bicycle journalist, author, and podcaster. The popular podcast The Cycling Podcast, which the 49-year-old Scotsman founded, is what made him most famous.

The statement reads, “There can be no consolation today, but the closest thing is knowing that the network of love and affection he constructed will now serve as an edifice of support for those who will be most profoundly touched by this loss.
The Cycling Podcast would “simply never have started without Richard,” the article says, calling him the “life force” and “federal spirit” behind it.
We humbly ask for your patience and understanding over the next few days as we absorb this tragedy, especially for the benefit of Richard’s family.
The statement ends with the words, “In due course, it will be our imperative to convey more fully how fortunate we feel to have known Richard and to keep his towering legacy alive.”
