Update on the Lori Vallow Daybell Murder Case
More than three years after her children, Joshua “J.J.” Vallow and Tylee Ryan, vanished from a small village in eastern Idaho, it is said that Lori Vallow’s trial is scheduled to start.
The probe has turned up strange information, such as Lori’s assertions that she is a divinity, her use of the word “zombies” to describe the kids, and her followers’ faith in her end-of-the-world prophesies.
In October 2019, charges were brought against Lori and Chad Daybell in connection with the murders of J.J., Tylee, and Chad’s late wife.
When Tylee and J.J.’s grandparents began to worry for the kids, the lawsuit got underway. Shortly after Lori refused to speak to J.J. whenever they asked for him, they called the police.
In November 2019, J.J. and Tylee’s welfare was checked by the Rexburg police department after their grandparents in Idaho notified the authorities.
The children’s locations were allegedly lied about at that time by Lori and Chad, who had married Lori and knew her for months.
This prompted a more thorough inquiry, which ultimately turned up troubling evidence suggesting that the kids had been murdered and their remains had been concealed on Chad Daybell’s land.
In April 2023, Daybell’s trial is scheduled to start. She may be sentenced to life in prison if she is found guilty on the counts of murder, conspiracy, and grand theft.
