Fox News reporter Abby Grossberg recently sued the network, alleging that the network’s attorneys “coerced, intimidated, and misinformed” her into giving false evidence as part of Dominion Voting System’s $1.6 billion slander case against the company.
Grossberg is said to have filed a lawsuit against Fox News in Delaware Superior Court and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. CNN obtained documents from the Delaware case stating:
“Fox News Attorneys acted as agents and at the direction of Fox News to misleadingly coach, manipulate, and coerce Ms. Grossberg to deliver shaded and/or incomplete answers during her sworn deposition testimony, which answers clearly harmed her reputation but greatly benefited Fox News.”
According to the complaint, the Fox legal team’s “consistent efforts and actions” compelled Grossberg to speak in a way that “cast facts in a false light.” The network intended to “shift culpability” away from top Fox News officials and “away from Fox Corporation,” according to the producer. Abby Grossberg accused Fox News of sexism and chauvinism in her complaint. She claimed that senior male executives made disparaging remarks about network presenters on a regular basis.
Grossberg allegedly began working for Fox News as an editor and booker in March 2019. Before becoming Tucker Carlson’s director of booking, she worked as a senior scheduling editor for Maria Bartiromo. According to reports, Fox News forced Grossberg to leave the network after she filed a complaint against it.

Fox news reporter Abby Grossberg recently made headlines after filing a complaint against the network, accusing its legal team of coercing and bullying her into providing false evidence in advance of her interview in the Dominion Voting Systems slander case against Fox last September.
Dominion filed a $1.6 billion lawsuit against Fox Corporation and Fox News, claiming that the network “recklessly ignored the truth” during the 2020 U.S. presidential election and promoted several pro-Trump conspiracy theories about election fraud.
In its complaint, Dominion claimed that Fox News defamed it by airing pro-Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. The company claimed that the lawyers promoted a false conspiracy theory and that Dominion Voting Systems shifted Donald Trump’s ballots to Joe Biden, but Fox News hosts did not refute the claims.
“The lies were beneficial to Fox’s business,” Dominion claimed. However, the network categorically denied the accusations and stated that it reported accurately on Trump’s claims. Dominion’s case, according to the station, also violates free expression. During her interview in the case, Dominion’s lawyers questioned Abby Grossberg about an email Powell sent to Maria Bartiromo. The attorneys also revealed phone texts between Grossberg and Baritromo about the 2020 election, in which the former allegedly wrote:
“To be honest, we don’t think our audience wants to hear about a peaceful transition.”
When the lawyers asked Grossberg if she thought it was necessary to clarify someone who said something false, she said “no.” Abby Grossberg now claims that Fox’s legal team supported her “misleading and evasive answers” during the disposition rather than suggesting that she say what she truly felt because doing so would allow Grossberg to “unwittingly” shift responsibility from the network’s higher executives onto herself.
The producer also claimed that, in contrast to her male coworkers, she was not allowed to review and correct the recordings of her interview, and that she was only mentioned once in Dominion’s court papers. According to CNN, Fox Corporation, the parent company of Fox News, recently requested that its participation in the Dominion Voting Systems case be dropped, claiming that it has no influence over the channel’s coverage.
In her own complaint against Fox News, Abby Grossberg accused the network’s legal team of wrongdoing while preparing her for a pre-trial interview in Dominion’s slander case. She also accused the network and some of its top executives of sexism and chauvinism.
Grossberg claimed in her complaint that she was passed over for a high-level position on Marie Bartiromo’s Sunday Morning Futures because the network allegedly preferred a male applicant. According to the producer, Fox News executives frequently made allegedly disparaging remarks about female employees such as presenters Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro. She claimed that some people called her a “crazy b***h” who was “menopausal.”
Abby Grossberg went on to say that she was shocked by the atmosphere on The Tucker Carlson Show when she first started working there. She claimed that on her first day, her office was adorned with large photographs of then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “in a plunging bathing suit.”
CNN received the following complaint:
“Grossberg was mortified by what she was seeing and felt a sinking feeling in her stomach as it became clear how pervasive misogyny and the desire to embarrass and objectify women was among Tucker Carlson Tonight’s male staff.”
Grossberg’s complaint, filed in New York, repeated the accusations of sexism and claimed that an anti-Semitic culture existed. The lady mentioned Carlson and members of his team in her complaint. Abby Grossberg’s attorney, Parisis G. Filippatos, stated that the former had “ample documentary evidence in all forms to support a broad swath” of the claims she made in the cases.
Grossberg told CNN that she filed the complaint against Fox News in the hope that it would force the network to reform. She went on to say that it was the “only step” she could take to reclaim her dignity and keep her job. The director also expressed a desire to “expose the lies and deception” she “witnessed for years” on two of Fox News’ most popular shows.
How did Fox News respond to Abby Grossberg’s lawsuit?
The network sued Abby Grossberg on the same day she attacked Fox News to prevent her from challenging the station. According to reports, the director vowed to suit Fox for prejudice and retaliation. A network representative informed Insider:
“We have filed a temporary restraining order to protect our rights because Ms. Grossberg has threatened to reveal FOX News Media’s attorney-client privileged information.”
The representative also defended the network against Abby Grossberg’s claims, claiming that some of the producer’s concerns were expressed after a negative performance review:
“Fox News Media retained an independent outside counsel to conduct an immediate investigation into Ms. Grossberg’s concerns, which were raised following a critical performance review.”
According to reports, the network was also pursuing a protective order against Abby Grossberg in order to prevent her from disclosing confidential information in her case, which would result in “immediate irreparable harm” to the network. Grossberg and her attorney claimed that Fox News’ claims that her complaints came only after a critical performance evaluation were false. Filippatos told CNN, ”
“Yet another example of Fox News avoiding, if not attempting to bury, the truth.”
Meanwhile, Grossberg stated:
“Fox simply does not give a damn.” It describes everything perfectly. They don’t care about their employees… or their fans.”
On Tuesday, Fox News dropped its case against Abby Grossberg.
