Cyberbullied Kimura was found unconscious and wrapped in a garbage bag early on Saturday. The sources also said that a number of suicide notes and a container that seemed to be used to create deadly gas were found in her room.

Before she passed away, Kimura got a flood of hate mail from many accounts. The suspect detained on Tuesday allegedly posted disparaging remarks about Kimura on social media, including: “You have such a terrible personality, is your life even worth living?” Hey, when are you going to die?
Kyoko Kimura’s mother sues Terrace House
Kyoko Kimura is seeking $1 million in damages from three companies, including Fuji Television, in her lawsuit. Kimura contends in her complaint that the show’s creation by the defendants incited viewers to oppose her daughter.
The Tokyo District Court received the matter.
In her case against the defendant, the wrestler’s mother is seeking damages in excess of $20,000. She also revealed last week that Remember Hana, an organization devoted to battling cyberbullying, had been founded.
She previously told Japan’s Mainichi newspaper about her daughter’s bubbly attitude and continuous fussing.

A Japanese man has been accused but will not go to trial for harassing a professional wrestler online before she eventually committed herself.
The guy, who has not been named, allegedly accused Hana Kimura, a TV reality show star as well, of being cyberbullied. This is according to the Police, who talked to AFP. She died in May of 2020. A Tokyo court sentenced the man to pay 9,000 yen (£59).
Prosecutors brought charges against the individual, according to Kyodo News, because his tweets were “particularly malicious.”
After the conviction was announced, Kimura’s supporters were incensed by the sentence’s perceived leniency. On Twitter, one fan page voiced his fury and said that Hana Kimura’s online bully effectively received nothing. Someone another countered that the cost of a human life is not $80.
Kimura’s death raised awareness of the growing problem of cyberbullying in Japan. Calls have been made for the government to take more severe action against social media users who publish harmful information anonymously as a consequence.
