Ed Skrien initially played Daario Naharis, one of the Games of Thrones characters that is a fan favorite, for three episodes in season 3. After a brief tenure, Skrein left the program, and beginning with season 4, Michiel Huisman assumed the role of Daario Naharis.
HBO has not commented on the recast, but several rumors have emerged that the actor was unable to continue filming Game of Thrones because of other commitments.
However, Skrien revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that his decision to leave the program was political and that he had wished to continue working on it for a longer period because he loved it so much.

Additionally, the British actor has gone on to play some well-known roles in blockbuster films like Deadpool, Alita: Battle Angel, and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil after making an appearance in Game of Thrones.

The British actor was allegedly Angelina Jolie’s obsession in 2018, according to certain claims. The rumors first surfaced in May 2018 when Ed and Jolie were cast in Maleficent 2, and an unnamed source implied that Angelina was involved.
However, Gossipcop cleared the matter, saying Angelina did not influence the decision to cast Ed in the next Maleficent sequel because those were just speculations.

Ed says that when he is not acting, spending time with his child is his favorite activity, which adds to his fatherly moments. Ed Skrein even said that he enjoys taking Marley’s pals out, playing on the playground, and eating ice cream in the sweltering weather.
