Erika Casher, a Cigna nurse, was fired as a result of a viral video in which she appeared to giggle briefly while a Rutherford youngster was narrating about his grandmother’s tragic death.
Knox, according to Meaww, was one of seven children who encouraged the Rutherford County Board of Education earlier this week, at a hearing held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, to make masks obligatory.
Knox, on the other hand, is mocked and even laughed at by some members of the school board audience in the viral video. Casher chuckled as he revealed his grandmother died of Covid-19 after being exposed to someone who didn’t use a mask, while the woman behind him held a ‘Let Out Kids Smile’ placard. Many social media users demanded that she be fired for her conduct, and she quickly went viral.
According to Heavy, Cigna was contacted to enquire about Casher’s firing after unfounded social media allegations surfaced, but we have yet to hear back.
An acquaintance who works for Cigna has confirmed Erika’s dismissal, according to an update. The claim was also made on Reddit, but it has yet to be validated.
