Will Arnett was born in the Canadian city of Toronto. He is the son of Edith Alexandra Arnett and Emerson James Arnett, and he was born in New York City. His father earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and worked as the CEO of Marlon Breweries as well as an attorney for corporations.
After being expelled from Lakefield College School for his disruptive behavior, Arnett enrolled in acting classes at Tarragon Theatre, where he received positive feedback from his teachers.
