The 29-year-old singer promised to return soon to WENEE (his audience), whom he referred to as his “home” and “everything” in a message posted on his online fan café.
“After winter has passed and spring has arrived, after the seasons have changed, in the summer of next year, on the day I first sang for WENEE,” she says. The next day, I’ll return to find WENEE just as cool as I was that day. I’m going back to WENEE’s doorway, where I belong, my home, my everything.”
Before enrolling, the Eye on U singer asked his fans to catch up on everything he has planned for them. He then asked:

Highline Entertainment, Wonho’s management company, acknowledged his military service in a statement posted on the singer’s fan café. They said:
“Wonho will enroll as a public service worker on December 5th, 2022, to fulfill his responsibility as a Korean citizen.”
They have urged followers to express their love and support for him until he completes his duties and is in good health.
“We want your warm love and support for Wonho, who will continue to serve in the military until his return.”

Wonho will make his solo debut in 2020, following Monsta X
Lee Ho-seok, also known as Wonho, debuted with Starship Entertainment in 2015 as a member of the hip-hop boy band Monsta X. He left the group four years later after extensive reports of his drug use surfaced on social media. In 2020, the singer made his solo debut with his first EP, Love Synonym #1: Right for Me, released by Highline Entertainment.
