It was reported that the fight began with an argument over a purse and quickly developed into a violent battle. During the argument, Howard allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by both arms and threw her against a mirror glass wall in their hallway. She collapsed to the ground as a result, her right arm resting on his crutch from a recent knee surgery.
According to Davie police, the fall resulted in visible scrapes, redness, and bruises on her right wrist, forearm, and elbow. Xavien Howard was then arrested and jailed at Broward County’s Davie Police Department. After his release, he spent some time at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office jail before addressing the issue with Keeli and departing. Xavien and Keeli have been married for many years and are the proud parents of three children.
