Zay Flowers, a wide receiver for the Ravens, is not in custody. He is being looked at, nevertheless, about a domestic abuse report.
Even though Flowers’ complaint was filed on January 21, following the Houston Texans game, he was still allowed to play against the Chiefs. Additionally, many Ravens fans believe that his fumble in the fourth quarter cost them dearly, therefore it probably would have been best if he had missed the game.
Flowers is not indicted, and a representative for the Ravens stated that they are concerned about these kinds of things. In December, over ten years after his arrest that ended his career, the Ravens honored Ray Rice. After a video of Rice hitting his fiancée in a hotel elevator went viral, the man was taken into custody. Rice spent eight years as a player for the Ravens. Therefore, it is unclear how the investigation will turn out and what the Ravens will do to stop their wide receiver moving forward.

Charges of domestic abuse have led to the arrest of Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flower, 23. Citing state regulations governing victim-police relations, the Acton Authorities Department has declined to release the report. On the other hand, a lot of people online believe that Ruby Antonioli, Zay’s girlfriend, is the victim.
Along with Baltimore County Police, Acton Police is looking into the crime. The police agency stated that they learned of the alleged attack on January 21. The event took place in Baltimore County. Thus, the incident happened before the Ravens’ AFC Championship matchup with the Chiefs. Flowers took part in the activity.
Flowers is not facing any charges, and the situation is still being looked into. “We take these matters seriously and will have no further comment at this time,” the Ravens told CBS News. Although a Facebook message from January 23 implied Flowers was in danger, the news was not released until February 9.
Eventually, the Facebook message was shared on a fan forum. Please consider this with a grain of salt, the forum participant said. However, there is a member of an NFL Facebook group who believes Zay is seriously endangered. When the user submitted a screenshot of Glen D. Woods’ Facebook post, many questioned his authenticity.
Glen was questioned by a fellow Facebook user if he was willing to stake money on his sources. He replied that his sources had offered proof. Now, a lot of NFL fans are curious as to whether the Ravens knew about Zay’s accusations and, if so, why they allowed him to play against the Chiefs.
Is Zay Flowers still with Ruby Antonioli?
When Ruby Antonioli was a student at Boston College, she first met Zay Flowers. Since Ruby has deleted every photo of Zay from her Instagram, many fans believe that she is the victim of his attack. In 2020, Ruby declared her relationship with Zay. In the image she shared online, she was kissed on the cheek by Zay when she was with the player.
Her Instagram account no longer shows that picture. Ruby was present on the day that Zay was selected by the Ravens, as many people may know. She and Zay’s family had gone to the ceremony. Both Zay and Ruby shared the photos to their Instagram feeds.
Additionally, these photos are no longer visible on Zay and Ruby’s Instagram pages. Acton, Massachusetts is Ruby’s hometown, and it is also where the lawsuit was filed. Greg Antonioli, Ruby’s father, oversees Out of the Woods Construction & Cabinetry.
He is now the National Association of the Remodeling Industry’s president. Carly and Sophie Antonioli, Ruby’s older sisters, are also former athletes and graduates of Boston University. Ruby has deactivated her comment section on her Instagram account, although it is still active.
