Vernon Kay, 49, also announced on Twitter that he will be taking over the Breakfast Show for a few mornings. He wished Zoe Ball a speedy recovery and invited followers to watch the broadcast at 6:30 a.m. Vernon Kay appears on the Breakfast Show on January 30th.

On January 14, 2019, she took over as host of The Radio 2 Breakfast Show after Chris Evans quit after nine years.
