Zoe Sozo Bethel, Miss Alabama 2021, has passed away, as reported by her family on Instagram. The beauty queen was murdered in Miami just eight days after sustaining an unidentified brain injury that she did not reveal on social media.
The Instagram post was just published yesterday. Miss Alabama sustained a “severe brain/brainstem injury,” the family’s social media message stated.
The calamity occurred on February 10, 2022, and she remained unconscious until February 18, 2022. Her family issued the following statement after her passing:
This situation has been startling and sad for our family, and we can only imagine how shocking it must be for everyone who knows and cares for her.
