Zuri Kye Edwards is the son of Patti LaBelle and her ex-husband, Armstead Edwards, and a music producer and manager. On July 17, 1973, Patti LaBelle and Armstead Edwards’ only biological son was born. After Zuri was born, Patti and Armstead adopted two sons from their deceased neighbor.
Zuri’s adopted siblings are Dodd Stocker-Edwards and Stanley Stocker. Zuri’s parents reportedly adopted two more children, William and Stayce Holte, after adopting Dodd and Stanley.
