3 Little-Known Facts About Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh is best known for her roles in Greta Gerwig’s historical drama Little Women (2019), Ari Aster’s folk-horror Midsommar (2019), and Marvel Studios’ Black Widow (2021), in which she portrayed Yelena Belova.

She began dating renowned actor and filmmaker Zach Braff in 2019, who is best known for his part as John “J.D.” Dorian in the medical thriller Scrubs.

Zach Braff and Florence Pugh first connected on social media in 2018 when Braff praised Pugh’s performance in the historical thriller Lady Macbeth on Twitter. After the release of Braff’s short film for Adobe Cloud, In The Time It Takes to Get There, in which Pugh and Alicia Silverstone appeared as 19th-century influencers, they began dating in 2019.

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Pugh admitted that she and Braff, who is 21 years her senior, secretly ended their relationship early this year.

“Since everyone has an opinion on this relationship, we’ve been attempting to do this separation without the rest of the world knowing.”

We merely thought that by doing something like this, we could avoid hearing from millions of people who would otherwise express their joy at our separation. That’s what we did, then. I experience a knot in my esophagus when I talk about it.

Three things you may not know about Florence Pugh: 1) She adores both animals and vegetation.
Succulents are Florence Pugh’s absolute obsession. She has a cactus named Barry about which she regularly posts notes on her Instagram Stories. After getting advice from her admirers, she even performed surgery on the cactus to save it.

Pugh also loves dogs a lot. Her canine, Sir Albert Pugh, has a unique hashtag on Instagram: #SirAlbertPugh. She and her ex-partner Zach Braff raised a dog named Billie from the Los Angeles-based animal rescue organization Labelle Foundation during the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020. The decision to adopt Billie was made later.

Given that Florence Pugh’s father is a restaurateur, it should not be surprising that she loves to prepare. When she moved into Zach Braff’s Los Angeles home during the COVID-19 pandemic, she started her amateur culinary career.

Her YouTube account Culinary With Flo features cooking videos that were filmed in Braff’s lavish and sizable kitchen. The captivating films showcase Pugh’s love of cooking and offer quick meals made from leftovers. Along with talking about her day, she frequently moves in the kitchen while listening to music.

The couple’s adopted dog Billie occasionally makes an appearance in the recordings. Pugh stated in her interview with Harper’s Bazaar that she is currently preparing her London kitchen to recommence Cooking With Flo.

Florence Pugh is a talented musician who writes her music in addition to being a famous actress, just like her actor brother Toby Sebastian. She can also perform the piano and the guitar.

Before switching to performing, Pugh started her career singing covers on YouTube under the name Flossie Rose. Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan and Wonderwall by Oasis are two of her best-known covers.

In 2022 and 2023, Florence Pugh will appear in several high-profile films, including Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Sweetheart, in which she will co-star alongside Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, and Chris Pine.

Emma Donoghue’s The Wonder adaptation and Christopher Nolan’s eagerly awaited Oppenheimer, featuring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., and Rami Malek, respectively, will come after this.

In addition to Pugh, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two will be published in 2019. It stars Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya. Zach Braff and Florence Pugh also collaborated on Braff’s upcoming drama, A Good Person, which will be published in 2019.
