Troy Garity- Birth, Age, Ethnicity, Siblings, Education
Troy spent the majority of his childhood in Santa Monica with his mother, actress and activist Jane Fonda, and his father, activist and politician Tom Hayden. Garity does not have a biological sister, but he does have a half-sister, Vanessa Vadim, who is a popular director and cinematographer, and an adoptive sister, Mary Williams, who is an activist and follows in her adoptive parents’ path.
The city of Troy was named for Nguyen Van Troi, a Vietnamese resistance leader, rather than the well-known Troyan Empire.
He became an actor without even realizing it when he was included in his parents’ 1974 travelogue “Introduction to the Enemy.” Inspired by his mother, he went on to become an actor as well, with his first parts at the Santa Barbara Laurel Springs Camp for the Arts, and he starred uncredited in the 1981 film “On Golden Pond,” with his mother and grandfather Henry Fonda — a well-known actor in his own right.
He enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City after graduating from high school, and eventually became a member of the Academy Repertory Company.
Troy Garity- Relationship, Married Life
Troy loves to keep his career and personal lives separate, and he is rarely heard in public discussing his previous and present relationships; nonetheless, some facts about him are still known.
Troy has been married for nearly a decade. On August 27, 2007, he married Simone Bent at Columbia University’s St. Paul’s Chapel — Simone is both an actress and an activist. The two supposedly met on the set of a movie they worked on together and fell in love right away – they were dating for two years before marrying, although they broke up twice during that time before ‘finding one other’ permanently.
Despite the fact that Troy and Simone have been married for a long time, they do not have any children and do not appear to be planning to have any.
