Mike met actress/producer Mechelle McCain while they were both working on the 2003 musical “The Fighting Temptations.” The couple chose to call each other their life partners after a period of dating, and they were married in 2006. When their relationship began to break apart, the actor and his baby mom didn’t seem to sort things out through thick and thin. The native of Indianapolis, Indiana, filed for divorce in 2011.
