Relationships Daniel Negreanu Has Had in the Past

Negreanu has dated many different females. Along with dating, he also briefly engaged in a married connection. His first and only wife was a Michigan woman named Lori Lin Weber. Following their marriage of two years, he and Lori were divorced.

Negreanu blogged about the reasons behind his divorce from his wife in November 2007. He had been wrong to try to change Lori into something she was not. Daniel even admitted his mistake, saying that since he and Lori were still good friends, the divorce was the right course of action.

He started dating Evelyn Ng, a fellow professional poker player when his marriage broke up. The Hungarian beauty queen Krisztina Polgar was another woman he dated.

The connection did not, however, continue. He instead saw Marissa Rachelle Rodney, a stylist at Royal Tease Hair and Makeup in Las Vegas, it was discovered in 2014.

The previous year, they first connected at a welfare charity event. In 2018, they celebrated Valentine’s Day in Las Vegas to maintain their relationship. They posted pictures of the incredible moment on Instagram. It was the best Valentine’s Day ever, according to Negreanu’s partner.

They dated briefly, though, and Negreanu posted on his blog in late June 2018 to declare their breakup. He mentioned their relationship’s incompatibility as the reason for their breakup.

reestablished contact with ex-girlfriend and wed her

Before falling in love with Marissa Rachelle Rodney, Negreanu had a brief relationship with poker hostess Amanda Leatherman. At that time, their relationship didn’t work out, and the two parted ways.

The poker champion acknowledged having a problem after the split in an interview with Spportbladet Poker in 2014. The split, however, did little but strengthen their bond.

In 2018, Negreanu and Amanda were reunited, and they started dating. Thankfully, the Toronto native wasted no time this time and popped the question to Leatherman in January 2019.

Four months after being engaged, the pair wed on May 17, 2019, at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Negreanu dressed in a blue suit for the occasion, while his wife wore a white bridal gown with a V-neck lace pattern.

From a novice to the year’s top poker player

In order to fulfill his goal of becoming a professional poker player, Negreanu moved to Las Vegas. He had a tendency where would succeed at poker in Toronto and fail in Las Vegas.

Daniel persevered in spite of this and in 1997 reached the World Poker Final. He was regarded as the best player overall. Daniel made 11 final tables and made a ton of money in 2004, which was the best year of his career.

He was named the “2004 Card Player Player of the Year” and the “WSOP Player of the Year” in 2004. As of 2020, he had earned more than $42,053,305 from live tournaments.

He added that since everyone was created, regardless of sexual orientation, they were all equal in God’s eyes.
