In Season 1 of Below Deck Adventure, Michael Gilman will join the cast as a member of the deck crew, under the supervision of Lewis Lupton, the bosun.
A reality TV show is where Michael had his first experience being on camera and working on a motor boat. The Long Island-born deckhand intended to pursue a career in computer technology. But according to his Bravo profile, he decided against a career in computer technology in favor of a life at sea.
Mike Gilman, a native of Long Island, gave up his studies in computer science to pursue a life at sea. Mike joins Mercury as a young deckhand with experience working on commercial vessels and a desire to learn more about the yachting industry.

Michael Gilman didn’t immediately pursue a career in yachting. He is a commercial mariner who attended the State University of New York Maritime College to become a platoon leader and chief supply officer.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Michael is currently the third mate in the International Organization of Masters, Mates, and Pilots. He possesses a United States Coast Guard “Unlimited 3rd Mate’s License.”

A recent SUNY Maritime College Magna Cum Laude graduate with a US Coast Guard Unlimited Tonnage 3rd Mate License, she is vibrant, ambitious, and devoted.
Michael enjoys traveling and spending time with friends, according to his Instagram. Will he get along with the Below Deck Adventure crew? Only time will tell. Whether he makes friends on the boat or not, he will surely have trouble fulfilling his obligations. Michael’s Bravo bio referred to his challenges on the show. It reads:
While he enjoys the water and traveling, he finds it challenging to keep up with a motorboat’s demands. In the face of pressure from his deck crew and inter-departmental strife, Mike must decide if the “white boat” life is for him.
In the show’s promo, Michael appeared to be attempting to keep up with the workload and pressure.
Season 1 of Below Deck Adventure’s release date and cast
Fans of Bravo will network while watching Below Deck Adventure. The episode will feature Captain Kerry Titheradge and his crew, including chef Jessica Condy, bosun Lewis Lupton, and chief stew Faye Clarke.
The cast is completed by two stews, Kasie Faddah and Oriana Schneps, as well as three deckhands, Michael Gilman, Nathan Morely, and Kyle Dickard.
The most recent episode of the Emmy Award-nominated series “takes viewers beyond the deck and off the yacht as guests paraglide, explore caves, and experience daring helicopter flights over the Norwegian Fjords,” according to Bravo.
Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 9.00 PM ET, Below Deck Adventure Season 1 Episode 1 will air on Bravo. Viewers can catch the program the next day on the network’s website.
