Joy is in the air for Gina Rodriguez and Joe LoCicero as they prepare to welcome their first child together. The Jane the Virgin actress posted a heartfelt video and the good news of her 38th birthday on Instagram on July 30.

The short film provides peeks into the couple’s day-to-day activities, showing the couple’s affection for one another. At the very end, Joe smiles and cradles Gina from behind as she flashes the pregnancy test while crying.
In the background of her Instagram photo, Rodriguez used Calum Scott’s You Are The Reason, along with an emotional spoken quote that read:
“Anyone may want you, but love is different when someone actually values you.”

Actor Joe LoCicero, 35, has acted alongside Gina Rodriguez in a number of movies and television shows. On August 9, 1986, LoCicero was born in New York City. In the 2013 short film Hector: Lost Souls with Switchblades, he made his acting debut as a goon.
Since then, he has been in numerous other television programs, such as Kingdom, Spaghettiman, Welcome to Willits, Cop Chronicles: Loose Cannons: The Legend of the Haj-Mirage, Miss Bala, and Someone Great, The Bold and the Beautiful, Just Swipe, and many others.
LoCicero competes in Muay Thai as well, and in 2018 he was named the WCK Middleweight California Amateur Muay Thai Champion. The two first got to know one another in 2016 while Gina’s acclaimed show was being filmed. Jimmy Kimmel was informed by Rodriguez that he was there on set in 2019.
He appeared as a stripper who had been hired by my mother for my bachelorette party. Jane is completely against it, is terrified of it, and is unsure of what to do about it. Gina, though, does.
Six months after their shoot at a boxing gym, which Gina Rodriguez says brought them together, they got back together. The Golden Globe winner admitted that when she first encountered LoCicero at the gym, she did not know him. However, a few days later, everything changed.
