Canadian actor Keanu Reeves and his long-term partner Alexandra Grant made a rare public appearance at the 2022 Museum of Contemporary Arts Gala (MOCA).
At the event, which took place on June 4 at The Geffen Contemporary in Los Angeles, the 57-year-old actor wore a navy jacket and trouser suit with a white shirt and tie. His 49-year-old girlfriend wore a ravishing red gown with a halter neckline and glittering ballet slippers.
The annual event acts as a fundraiser for the Los Angeles museum whose mission is to acquire and display modern art. At a MOCA gala, where Eva Longoria, Krysten Ritter, and Christina Hendricks were also present, the couple made their first red carpet appearance together in nearly three years.

It is unknown when their affair began, although it is believed that Keanu Reeves began seeing her surreptitiously in 2018.
They did not reveal their relationship to the public until the 2019 LACMA Art + Film Gala. Prior to their relationship, Keanu and Alexandra were longtime friends and coworkers, having known one other for ten years.
Alexandra and the actor met for the first time at a dinner party in 2009, when they rapidly bonded. Despite not having a personal relationship at the time, Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant learned they had many interests, which led to the formation of a professional partnership.
Over the next decade, Reeves and Grant collaborated on numerous projects, beginning in 2011 with Reeves’ Ode to Happiness, for which Alexandra Grant provided the artwork.
Four years later, they wrote a second book together. Alexandra contributed further to this partnership by photographing Keanu. Reeves presented Alexandra with various shadows to photograph, and he also contributed poetry to the 2015 book Shadows.
Grant initially disclosed her relationship with Reeves in an interview with British Vogue in March 2020, stating that the media’s discovery of their affair was a whirlwind.
Intriguingly, I believe everyone I knew called me during the first week of November. But the question I’ve been asking the entire time is, “What is the likelihood of good?”

“A glass of wine… I wish I could elaborate. Love is crucial to my identity on multiple ways. This is one method of evading the question. I do not believe solitude to be the solution. As a painter, I experience periods of solitude, yet I appreciate the feeling of collaboration.
