James Yeager, a popular Tactical Reaction instructor, died unexpectedly on September 2. He was a former police officer, television personality, and firearms instructor.
Long-term amyotrophic lateral sclerosis was present, although there is no proof that it contributed to his demise. According to one of his fans, he gradually lost upper body strength, as well as his voice and ability to breathe, after receiving the diagnosis six months ago.
Yeager ceased uploading videos to YouTube after losing his voice, but he finally confirmed his diagnosis on the site in a June 2022 video titled ALS Update And Fundraising. The real cause of James’ death is unknown, and funeral information will be published shortly.
James Yeager: a compendium of information
James Yeager’s date of birth is unknown, but his name was well-known among the general populace. His most recent mission was this spring when he instructed 150 Ukrainian soldiers.
He flew to Kyiv with his team while the city was 95% surrounded and under daily siege, and he also provided guidance to those in need.
Yeager also flew to the Bundy Ranch in 2013 to protect Cliven Bundy and his family from the US government’s violent excesses.
From 2004 to 2005, he served on two Protective Security Details in Baghdad, Iraq, where his unit was tasked with protecting eight Iraqi Election Commissioners during the violent pre-election, election, and post-election periods.
Yeager’s team was responsible for supervising the physical security of their offices in the Interim Iraqi Government Building, and they had the opportunity to work with the Gurkhan Guard Unit.
James Yeager had to function as a media liaison and communicate with the building and complex’s security officers, as well as the two U.S. Army Force Protection battalions for the region.
He assisted with the planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of a number of meetings, aircraft flights, helicopter shuttles, conferences, and journeys done by the eight election commissioners in order to set up and complete the election process.
From 1996 to 1998, he served as a patrolman and K-9 handler for the Big Sandy Police Department before the mayor of Big Sandy appointed him Chief of Police in 1998.
He held this position until he was appointed Deputy at the Benton County Sheriff’s Office in 2000. He was a patrol and Tactical Team leader as well as a trainer for the Multi-Agency Crisis Response team.
From 2002 until 2009, Yeager served as the Camden Police Department’s Weapons and Tactics Instructor and Sergeant heading the Reserve Unit.
From 2002 to 2004, he was the Vice President of a famous tactical gear company. Also, From 1992 to 1996, he served in a number of local police Drug Task Forces and Narcotics teams.
James worked as an instructor for weapons
James Yeager began his career as a weapons instructor and counselor for multiple individuals, tactical teams, and Special Forces in 1994. He was an expert witness on firearms, tactical training, and the use of force.
James has contributed to publications including S.W.A.T., Southern Lawman, and STUFF, among others. He authored a book about high-risk civilian contracting and produced numerous instructional videos.
Many periodicals and television series, including One Man Army, Snipers Inc, Student of the Gun, and Friends of the NRA TV, have featured him on their covers.
Two films in which he appeared are Daylight’s End and Cherokee Creek. Unknown family members survive him, and additional details regarding his personal life are now unknown.
