To look into claims of illegally buying and selling presents from foreign dignitaries, the investigators showed up at Khan’s door. Imran Khan is not incarcerated, no. But over the weekend, police officers who had traveled from Islamabad were seen in front of Khan’s house in Lahore. Inspector General Akbar Nasir Khan of the Islamabad Police claims that the team was sent to Lahore in addition to delivering the warrant to capture Khan.
Nasir stressed that, according to the law, informing the accused and initiating an instant arrest are the first steps in carrying out a non-bailable arrest warrant. When police arrived at the ex-prime minister’s Zaman Park home, they couldn’t find him.
